With the winter months fast approaching, it's time to bid farewell to Show Season 2024. This month, we’re taking a moment to look back on all the excitement, from impressive machinery displays to meeting familiar faces and some new ones. Join us as we recap the highlights, stand-out moments, and everything else that made Show Season 2024 one to remember!

Scot Agri’s Action-Packed Show Schedule

Throughout the season, Scot Agri has attended over 20 shows across Scotland and the North of England, with two more still in the calendar. The season kicked off in Thainstone at the Royal Northern Spring Show followed by Fife Show, Northumberland County Show, and NSA ScotSheep. Scot Agri attended Arable Scotland for the first time. With live demonstrations, Scot Agri showcased the Horsch Pronto 6DC and Massey Ferguson 8S.225. With appearances at notable shows such as Black Isle Show, Border Union Show, and the Westmorland County Show, Scot Agri’s presence was felt across Scotland and beyond throughout the year.

Royal Highland Show 2024

The Royal Highland Show is the pinnacle show of the season, bringing together our teams from Fraserburgh down to Carnforth. Not only is it a fantastic opportunity to unite the Scot Agri team, but of course, to interact with our wonderful customers. Both of our stands featured showstoppers from JCB, Massey Ferguson, and Horsch, to name a few! The Doddie the iCON tractor took centre stage alongside the Morris Leslie limited edition 70th anniversary 4CX Backhoe loader while our stand on Avenue R showcased the latest machinery from Massey Ferguson, BvL, Horsch and Berthoud. Those who visited our stand were treated to warm pies, cold drinks and a natter with their favourite salesmen! We already can’t wait for Royal Highland Show 2025!

Kelso and Glenrothes Open Days

Our Open Days at Kelso and Glenrothes were fantastic opportunities to catch up with our customers and allow them to get hands-on with the latest machinery we have to offer. Highlights included Doddie the iCON’s first appearance at the Kelso Open Day, manufacturer product specialists and valuable conversations with both our expert team and fellow farmers. Whether checking out new equipment or swapping insights, these open days gave the Scot Agri team a great chance to catch up with customers and connect with the local farming community.

Celebrating Success: Haddington and Perth Show Win

Haddington Show

We were honoured to win “Best Trade Stand” at Haddington Show 2024. Our stand showcased a diverse lineup of top-class machinery, featuring Doddie the iCON, a Horsch Joker, a Massey Ferguson 5S.145, and a JCB 542-70 loadall – representing the best from our wonderful manufacturers.

Perth Show

Scot Agri’s stand success didn’t stop at Haddington Show. Gavin and the team at Perth secured “Best Agricultural Show Stand” at Perth Show while showcasing machinery from JCB, Horsch, Spearhead and BvL.

Upcoming Shows

As we look ahead, show season 2024 is not over for Scot Agri yet! We are excited to be attending Borderway Agri Expo in Carlisle on Friday 1st November followed by AgriScot at Royal Highland Centre on Wednesday 13th November. Attendees can expect to see top-tier machinery from our manufacturers and opportunity to engage with our specialist team. We invite everyone to visit Scot Agri at these events to discover how we can support you with our second-to-none machinery and expertise. And who knows? You might just enjoy a warm tea or coffee and a biscuit while you’re at it!

As this year’s show season comes to a close, we would like to thank everyone who joined us on our show stands across the country and beyond. Here’s to Show Season 2025, we can’t wait!
